An arrangement for fastening a safety belt (2) assigned to a seat equipped with a foldable seat cushion (1) has a fitting part (4), held on the frame (3) of the seat cushion (1), for at least one end of the safety belt assigned to the pelvic region of a vehicle occupant, and a belt-force transmission device introducing the belt forces into the vehicle frame (11). This belt-force transmission device is, according to the invention, to consist of a first hooking part (10) fastened rigidly to the vehicle frame (11) and of a second hooking part (9) connected to the fitting part (4), and, in the position of use of the seat cushion (1), the second hooking part (9) is, at least in the presence of a belt force occurring in the event of restraint, to be capable of being brought into an engagement position engaging positively on the first hooking part (10). <IMAGE>
