A telescopic brush assembly, especially for supplying power to electromagnetic couplings which rotate, consists, for more cost-effective production and in order to ensure a more reliable method of operation, of a cylindrical brush (1), which consists of sintered bronze with a grain size of 0.15-0.3 mm and is mounted displaceably in an insulating body (2), which is produced by injection moulding plastic into another metallic body (7), of a spiral spring (3) which acts on the brush (1), of a multi-wire conductor (4) which ensures the electrical connection between the brush (1) and a special screw (5), and of a cable connection (6). <IMAGE>
