BIVALENT VACCINE AGAINST TYPHOID AND CHOLERA

The present invention relates to immunogenic preparations of attenuated strains of S.typhi which have been transformed by a plasmid containing the cistron coding for the LT toxin B sub-unit of E.coli, and which express said toxin sub-unit. These immunogenic preparation are useful for providing protection against typhoid and cholera or E.coli infections caused by the LT-toxin.
