A video crossbar distributor is proposed which has an automatic frequency response correction for the video signals to be distributed. For this purpose, the direct current flowing through the conducting switching point is measured, from this a control signal is derived and this is used to control a frequency response correction circuit (22), which is arranged in the input amplifier (10), in the sense of reducing the change in frequency response of the video signal to be transmitted. <IMAGE>
