PURPOSE:To attain the sound post-recording and the video post-recording of VFR by providing a split constitution of a full-width erasion head so that the record of a sound track and that of a video track can be erased independently of each other and therefore a PCM audiofunction and a video recording function coexist with each other. CONSTITUTION:A full-width erasion head 1 is divided into a video track correspondence part 1a and a sound track corrspondence part 1b. A magnetic tape 4 contains control tracks 5 and 8 at its both side together with a video track 6 and a sound track 7 holding card bands 9-11 between them. Then the tape 4 is driven from a supply reel in a cassette via a tape guide while having a contact with the head 1. The records of the tracks 6 and 7 are erased by head parts 1a and 1b respectively. Thus an erasion gap 2 or 3 of the part 1a or 1b is properly selected and excited. Therefore the sound post-recording and video post-recording are possible without causing double writing nor incomplete erasion, etc. |
