A method of producing fish paste by addition of Hijiki(Hizikia fusiforme) during the manufacture of fish paste is provided to give the efficacy of medicinal efficacy and its nutrients such as calcium, iodine, iron and the like to fish paste. Hijiki(Hizikia fusiforme) is soaked in wash water containing 3% by weight of sugar and 100% by weight of water at 20 to 25deg.C for 20min, washed for 3 to 5min to remove salt, dried with a cold wind and ground. Then 5 to 10% by weight of the Hijiki powder is mixed with 60% by weight of fish, 15% by weight of wheat flour, 3 to 6% by weight of white bean flour, 3% by weight of sugar, 2% by weight of carrots, 2% by weight of onions and 2% by weight of salt, extruded, heated and fried in oil. |
