PURPOSE:To position a magneto-resistance effect element in a gap direction and in a circumferential direction with high precision by fitting the magneto-resistance effect element through an annular member and an arcuate fitting member which has curvature equal to the curvature of the projection part of the annular fitting member. CONSTITUTION:A ring 15 is circular and has a projection 17 at a specific position, and this is fitted to a housing 14 with a boss 19. The projection 17 is an arcuate projection having an internal diameter equal to specific distance R from the center O' of the ring 15, and the circular boss 19 is concentric with the projection 17. One side of the arcuate metallic fixture 16 is arcuate having an external diameter R, and the other side is flat; and the curved surface side extends along the projection 17 of the ring 15, and the magneto-resistance effect element 11 is fitted on the plane side.
