<p>A field emission device and a method thereof are provided to increase reflectance and to obtain high luminance at the same current and the same anode voltage by forming a thick reflective layer. A field emission device includes an anode and a cathode. The anode includes an anode electrode layer(102) formed on a lower glass substrate(100), and a plurality of phosphor layers(103) stacked on the anode electrode layer. The cathode includes a transparent cathode electrode layer(105) formed on an upper glass substrate(104), and an electron emission unit(106) separated from the phosphor layers. The anode electrode layer has a thickness of 3000 to 5000Š and is composed of a metal having low resistance and high reflectance.</p> |
