The invention relates to a headrest for the backrests of car seats, for holding a first-aid box. With the arrangement of the first-aid box in the cavity formed in a headrest, it is to be ensured that the first-aid box can be reached quickly and in an uncomplicated manner in order to provide first aid, which is not always the case with the previously known first-aid boxes. By means of a label attached to the side of the headrest, the first-aid box can be easily pushed in and withdrawn in a fashion which is clearly recognisable for all occupants of the vehicle or other parties.
