PURPOSE:To obtain a sports drink composition having excellent emulsion stability and improved flavor, by emulsifying a food composition consisting of a medium-chain triglyceride, a natural fat or oil and vitamin E with sucrose isobutylacetate. CONSTITUTION:A sports drink composition obtained by incorporating 100pts.wt. fat or oil composition consisting of a mixed fat or oil or ester interchange oil of 30-95wt% medium-chain triglyceride containing caproic acid or caprylic acid, etc. as a fatty acid component with 5-70wt% natural fat or oil or with 0.01- 10pts.wt. vitamin E, incorporating 40-99.9wt% resultant food composition with 0.1-60wt% sucrose isobutylacetate to give an oily mixture, and mixing <=20pts.wt. above-mentioned oily mixture with >=80pts.wt. aqueous solution of a natural gummy substance in <=40wt% concentration to emulsify the resultant mixture. |
