The invention relates to a coupling device for a conveying device which is used especially for in-house overhead conveying in the clothing industry, the conveying device having a bearing rail which is suspended from a slide rail or the like and on which support clamps equipped with track rollers are provided, the track rollers being supported on the bearing rail and the support clamps being suspended downwards, the support clamps supporting support tubes or similar holding devices and interhookable coupling elements being arranged between adjacent support tube ends, the coupling elements (1, 2) being made of a strip-like thin material and having a forwards pointing support bar (4) together with a curved bar (6) connected to the latter, the curved bar (6) being curved inwards towards the axle (5) and the culmination point (10) being located between the axle (5) and the support bar (4). <IMAGE>
