A memory apparatus comprises : a SATA data interface connected to the computer for transferring data, a USB interface connected to the computer, the said USB interface includes a USB data interface and a USB power interface, the said USB power interface connects to a power distribution module through a power line, the said power distribution module distributes the power obtained from the USB interface to the components, the storage medium and the controller connected correspondingly that require the power supply of the memory apparatus, and also comprises a monitor module connected to the SATA data interface, the said monitor module connectsto a switching module,the said switching module connects to the controller, the monitor module monitors the I/O operations of data written or read through the SATA data interface, and reports the monitoring results to the switching module, the said switching module selects USB data interface or the SATA data interface according to the monitoring results and transfers the data.
