PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of trouble and make the cover replacing work easier by providing a covering body so as to pass a guide body, the back side of a sliding face, the other guide body, and sliding surface and arrive again at a moving part. CONSTITUTION:On the inside surface of the guide column 11 of the machine base of a press, a sliding guide board 13 is fixed in such a way as to cover a groove 12, and its outside surface serves as a sliding surface 15 with which a sliding board 14, which is obliquely fitted to the square part of a slider 5 as a moving part, is slidingly brought in contact. Shafts 18 are supported between a pair of supporting projections 17 which are projectingly formed on both the top and bottom ends of the guide board 13, and rollers 20, 20 are rotatably supported by these shaft. A belt-like cover 21 is put around the rollers 20, covering the exposed part of the sliding surface 15 for protection. Since the sliding surface 15 of a column 1 is completely covered by the cover 21, the deposition of duct, etc. can be prevented, and it becomes difficult for troubles to occur. |
