PURPOSE:To enable to supply a paper in feeding out two rows of webs by a minimum number of drag rollers, by a method wherein the second drag roller and the third drag roller are provided respectively at a skew upper position and at substantially the same height on the downstream side of the first drag roller, and a web deflecting means is provided on the downstream side of the second and third drag rollers. CONSTITUTION:The second drag roller 40 and the third drag roller 44 are provided respectively at a skew upper position and at substantially the same height on the downstream side of the first drag roller 32. A compensating roller 46 is provided in the triangle formed by the three drag rollers, and the web deflecting means is provided on the downstream side of the drag rollers 40, 44. In the case of one web, the web is bisected by a slitter 43 affixed to the drag roller 32, and the two rows of the webs are drawn out through the drag rollers 40, 44, and are directed to the deflecting means. In the case of two webs, the upper web is affixed to the drag roller 44 at an angle sufficiently smaller than that for the lower web, and the webs in a laminated condition are led to the deflecting means. Accordingly, the number of drag rollers and the number of accompanying guide rollers or the like can be reduced. |
