PURPOSE:To increase heat exchange efficiency and improve humidifying device by a method wherein water vapor in exhaust gas is condensed forcibly in a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Air flow is blown against a multi-tube type secondary heat exchanger 4 equipped with radiating fins to reduce the temperature of exhaust gas forcibly and the temperature of the exhaust gas, passed therethrough, is reduced to a temperature lower than the dew point, then, the water vapor, as the products of combustion, is condensed and the condensed water is introduced into a drain tank 6. The secondary heat exchanger 4 is provided with a vertical type and discharging of the condensed water is facilitated by making the flow of the exhaust gas and the dropping direction of the condensed water the same direction. Water, reserved in the drain tank 6 is sent to a humidifying dish 9 by a pump 7 to utilize it for indoor humidifying. When the condensed water is reserved in the drain tank 6 so as to exceed the water sending capacity of the pump 7, a three-way switching valve 10 is switched by a water level detector 12 to communicate the pump 7 with a water discharging pipe 11 and discharge the condensed water to the outside of the room. In this case, the three-way switching valve 10 may be switched to the position of outdoor discharging by an operating signal. |
