PURPOSE:To secure such an aluminum wheel as being lightweight, excellent in sticking strength and low-unit cost of production, by installing plural numbers of through holes in a contact part between a rime part and a disc part composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy, while coupling the rim part and the disc part solidly together by means of welding from the side of these through holes. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped rim part 1 is made up of formation that a fixed width belt-like aluminum plate is rolled into a flange part 2, a bead 3 and a drop part 4 each, while these parts are further rolled round, then cut off and each of these cut surfaces are welded together. On the other hand, a disc part 5 is made up of formation that an aluminum plate is formed under pressure and plural arm parts 7 are installed in position at regular intervals radially from a hub part 6. In addition, plural numbers of through holes 9 are formed in the drop part 4 to contact with a receiving part 8 of the arm part 7 at specified intervals in the circumferential direction of the rim part 1. And, the drop part 4 and the receiving part 8 are made to get closer to each other and welded together from the side of these through holes 9, thus an aluminum wheel 10 is manufactured. |
