PURPOSE:To enhance injection efficiency of a wood treating chemical agent, by enabling continuous work by a method wherein a storage part is provided to the exhaust port of an exhaust gas condenser of a chemical agent solution introduced into a chemical agent injection boiler and an accumulated solvent is withdrawn while the exhaust side of the condenser is closed. CONSTITUTION:A solution of a chemical agent is introduced into a chemical agent injection boiler to pressurized the wood in said boiler and the chemical agent is injected into the wood. In the next step, the exhaust gas of said solution is condensed while introduced into a conenser. A storage part is provided to the exhaust port of said condenser and a condensed solvent is stored in the storage part while the discharge valve of the storage part is closed. Subsequently, the inlet valve of the storage part is changed over to close the port communicating with the condenser while bringing the inlet side of the storage part into communication with the open air and the aforementioned exhaust valve is opened to discharge the solvent accumulated in the storage part. Therefore, the above mentioned storing and discharge process is intermittently repeated.
