Novel polyamine amides containing polyalkylpiperidinyl radicals, of the formula <IMAGE> where R4 is a -CmH2m-C(O) group and X is a divalent radical of the formulae <IMAGE> are described. The novel polyamine amides are distinguished by an outstanding stabilising action against the effect of light on synthetic polymers, in particular polyolefins.
