PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of relative humidity in a room without stopping the operation of an indoor side fan by pivoting a stabilizer for a cross- flow fan upon stopping the operation of a compressor. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor Q1 is put ON and the compressor 9 is being operated, the stabilizer 8 is positioned at the position shown by a full line, therefore, the upper blade plate 8a is effected as the stabilizer of the cross-flow fan 5 and air flows as shown by signs A, B. In the reverse case, the transistor Q1 is put OFF and the compressor 9 is stopped, simultaneously, a relay 14 is operated to drive a driving device 15. As a result, the stabilizer 8 is pivoted to a position shown by a broken line and the lower blade plate 8b effects as the stabilizer of the cross-flow fan 5. Accordingly, air is induced from the upper part of a blow-off port 3 as shown by dotted lines C, D and is blown off from the lower part of the blow-off port 3, the amount of air which flows through a heat exchanger 4 is reduced extremely, the re-evaporation of water drops, adhered to the surface of the heat exchanger 4, may be reduced, the relative humidity is increased and uncomfortable feeling will never be felt.
