The invention relates to a process for the preparation of &bgr;-anomer enriched gemcitabine hydrochloride of formula I, Icomprising such steps as:the preparation of gemcitabine hydrochloride solution in water;raising concentration of said compound in the prepared solution for initiation of the precipitation process;separation of said compound enriched with &bgr;-anomer.The invention relates as well a process for the preparation of initial gemcitabine hydrochloride and further enriching thereof with &bgr;-anomer. |
