PURPOSE:To make the temperature of a heat sensing element closely follow the temperature of cooking stuff by a structure wherein the heat sensing element is imbedded in conductive material and positioned at the center of a contacting plate by covering the circumference of the element by a spring retainer so as to constitute a cooling chamber and at the same time the radiant heat, which is emitted from a heater and received by the contacting plate, is rediated downwards by means of a middle liner. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of arms 23 are arranged at the upper part of a middle liner 15 at the positions corresponding to the claws 14 of a liner part 13. A spring retainer 17 is held at the center of a contacting plate 7 by means of ribs 24 provided at the root of each arm 23 and at the same time the flange 16 of the spring retainer 17 is brought into close contact with the inside surface of the contacting plate 7 by means of the claws 14. Because the liner part of the spring retainer 17 is separated from the middle liner 15 by means of the ribs 24, the heat of the middle liner 15 is prevented from transmitting to the spring retainer 17. Because of the close contact with such small ribs 24, the major part of the radiant heat transmitted to the liner part 13 of the contacting plate 7 is returned the outside of a pan bottom 6 through the peripheral edge of the contacting plate 7 and only a small portion of the remaining heat is transmitted to the spring retainer 17, while almost all the remaining heat is discharged to a lower space by means of a middle liner 15, resulting in preventing the temperature of the heat sensing element 12 from raising. Furthermore, because the heat sensing element 12 is also positioned at the center of the contacting plate 7, the detection accuracy of the element 12 is improved. |
