PURPOSE:To form a grooved angle shape with dimensional accuracy by using a conventional installation as it is by relating specifically the radius of curvature of corner angle at the groove-forming projecting part of a finish caliber to the width of the projecting part in rolling an angle shape having grooved both sides. CONSTITUTION:An angle shape having grooves in its both sides is finished through rolling by using a finishing caliber-roll having groove-shaped projecting parts 8. In this case, when a corner angle part R of the part 8 is made to 0.2- 0.3 times the width of part 8, a groove having excellent dimensional accuracy is provided to the angle-shape material because the corner angle part R is smoothly built up for the plastic flow of material. Accordingly, a rolling forming for a well grooved shape is easily performed by using a conventional angle- shape rolling installation. |
