PURPOSE:To perform restricted cutting efficiently by means of a fixed and movable cutters by stopping the mvable cutter for predetermined time interval at the lower limit position against the up/down motion of ram and discharging rod member cut during said interval. CONSTITUTION:A rod member 12 is inserted through feeding means into a guide tube and a fixed cutter 5 while furthermore penetrated through a movable cutter 13 and fed until contacts against a stopper 15. Upon operation of crank mechanism to lower a ram 16, the movable cutter 13 is pushed down against a push-up mechanism 22 to cut the rod member 12 through cross motion of the cutters 3, 5. Thereafter a kick-out pin 27 is moved back and forth to kick out the rod member cut by the cutter 13. |
