PURPOSE:To improve the linearily for long reamer by utilizing a reamer hole made in a workpiece to secure a guide member and supporting the reamer by means of said member. CONSTITUTION:Flange sections 10a, 11a are formed in a workpiece or runner 10 and spindle 11 while a plurality of reamer holes 12...12 coinciding under butted state are made at the flange section. A groove 13 is formed around the leading edge of the spindle 11 and fitted with a guide member 14. Consequently said member 14 is secured to the spindle 11 while the hole of the member 14 will coincide with the target hole. Thereafter the reamer 20 is inserted into the target hole 12 to support the leading edge of reamer 20 rotatably by means of the hole of the member 14. Under such state, the target hole 12 is reamed to prevent vibration and to improve the linearity. |
