PURPOSE:To remove a convergence drift due to a charge drift of the neck inside wall by forming a conductive film connected with one of the electrodes provided facing each other in the neighborhood corresponding to the arrangement direction at least of an inline type electron gun of the inside wall nearly corr sponding the electrode gap. CONSTITUTION:Anode voltage Ed from an inside conductive film 15 is impressed on a convergence cup 13 and the sixth electrode 16 through a valve spacer, while the third electrode 9 is connected with the fifth electrode 11 for being impressed with several thousand V, the fourth electrode 10 is connected with the second electrode 8 for being impressed with several hundred V, further the tripole lens 16, the unipotential lens 17 and the bipotential lens 18 are constituted for emitting electron beams 19a, 19b and 19c. Then the conductive film 30 is formed on the inside wall of the neck 14 nearly corresponding to he gap of the electrodes provided facing each other forming the lens system 16, 17 and 18 of at least the inline type electron gun, namely, in the neighborhood corresponding to the arrangement direction of at least the inline type electron gun from the starting position of the sixth electrode 12 to the second electrode 8 while conductively connecting said conductive film 30, for instance, with the fifth electrode 11. |
