PURPOSE:To obtain a nonlinear circuit having high accuracy of temperature compensation by using an element having the same characteristics as a nonlinear element in the nonlinear circuit as a temperature compensation element and applying the compensation voltage to the feedback terminal of an amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A diode D1 is put into a feedback circuit of a negative feedback amplifier A, and a bias current is applied to a diode D2 by a constant current source CCS1. The forward voltage VF at both terminals of the D2 has generally temperature characteristics of about -2mV/ deg.C. Here the temperature change of the output voltage Vo is set at DELTAVOT, and the temperature coefficient of the D2 is set at DELTAVFT (about -2mV/ deg.C), respectively. Under such conditions, the temperature characteristics is set as DELTAVOT=-R2R3(-DELTAVFT)/R4(R2+R3+Rd). The value of DELTAVOT can be optionally changed by varying the value of the resistance R4 in said equation. Furtermore no inconvenient output voltage Vo appears at an output terminal OUT by supplying a current equal to a current I4 flowing to the R4 to an inverted terminal of the amplifier A from a constant current CCS2 by the voltage VF, that is, by satisfying I2=I4.
