A matrix-type optical concentrator distributor. It comprises a matrix of retractable light deflection members, whereof the m lines and k columns (respectively 1 remaining columns) are optically connected to m and k transmitters - receivers (respectively 1 transmitters) of light signals to form two submatrixes having respectively k x m and 1 x m of said members. Preferably, the k x m members permit the passage of the incident signals from the transmitters and in part those from the transmitters receivers and the 1 x m members permit the partial passage of the incident signals from the 1 transmitters and the m transmitters - receivers. This leads to bidirectional communication between the m and k transmitters - receivers and unidirectional communications from the 1 transmitters to the m transmitters receivers, optically managed by the means intercepting a transmitted part of the signals.
