PURPOSE:To increase the width of hysteresis voltage and to reduce the power consumption by supplying the gates of two MOSTRs in opposite polarities to each other having drains connected to each other with a resistance, and connecting both drains to both gates each other, and connecting the outputs of these gates to an FF circuit respectively. CONSTITUTION:The threshold voltages VT1 and VT2 of TR11 and 12 are set at 0.6V with the power supply voltage VDD set at 5V. When the input voltage VIN is charged to 0.6V from 0V, the drain voltages of the TR11 and 12 are set at the potential of VDD. Then ''1'' and ''0'' are fed to a reset and set input terminals R and S of an FF16 respectively, and the output voltage VOUT is set at ''0''. When the voltage VIN is changed to 4.4V from 0.6V, the drain voltages of TR11 and 12 are set at VDD and GND respectively with the VOUT kept at ''0''. When the VIN is set at >=4.4V, the drain voltages of TR11 and 12 are set at GND. Then the output of an output terminal Q of the FF16 is set at ''1'' with the VOUT set at ''1'' respectively. The same result is obtained when the VIN is reduced from 4.4V. Therefore the inverse voltages VTH and VTL are set at 4.4V and 0.6V respectively, and the hysteresis voltage VH increases. When the VIN is set at 0V-0.6V and at >=4.4V, either one of two TRs is turned off; while both TRs are turned on when the VIN is set at 0.6V-4.4V. In this case, the current is limited by a resistance 13 and therefore the power consumption is reduced. |
