PURPOSE:To make it possible to see at the same visual angle with that when seeing the front of a fluorescent character display tube through the window of the front panel by arranging the luminous part very near the case front. CONSTITUTION:When a potential difference is caused between cathode electrodes 12 and anode electrodes 14 by voltage given to an external terminal, the electrons emitted from said cathode electrodes 12 collide with the anode electrodes 14 while exciting phosphors 15 applied to said anode electrodes 14 to radiate. The anode electrodes 14 are latticed substances and moreover a case 13, to which the electrodes 14 are fixed, is transparent so that luminescence A of the phosphor substances 15 is emitted from the gaps of the lattices thus making it possible to recognize display of figures or the like by seeing said luminescence A with eyes 17. In case the back case 11 is made also transparent, display can be seen from any direction of the front and the back. |
