PURPOSE:To execute vector processing simply even when a loop including a complex conditional statement is used by storing vector element data and vector mask data and accessing the vector mask data as a part of the stored data. CONSTITUTION:The vector element data (a) read out from a storage device 1 are inputted to an input switch circuit 2 and an objective register is selected to stored the data (a). The vector mask data of Y(1) are formed at first and stored in a vector mask register part 42 of a register 4 and then the vector mask data of Z(1) are formed and stored in a vector mask register part 52 of a register 5. The vector mask register parts 42, 52 of the registers 4, 5 are read out, the mask operation is executed and the operated result is stored in a vector mask register part 32 of a register 3. Finally, addition under control by the vector mask data stored in the register 3 is executed. |
