PURPOSE:To contrive to bear the heavy load and prevent the bearing from fretting corrosion by a method wherein solid lubricants are embeded in a base made of non-oxide ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A solid lubricating bearing 1 is composed of a base 2 and solid lubricants 3 which are mainly composed of carbon and Teflon resin, the solid lubricants are embeded in the base 2 with optional space. The base 2 is composed of non-oxide ceramic which is mainly composed of silicone compound and processed by sinter forming. The surface of the base 2 is processed by surface finishing with the same degree as that of general bearing metal, thereby the friction during the sliding is reduced as small as possible. |
