PURPOSE:To make no requirement of the cutout part of the external periphery of a synchronizing hub by a method wherein a projecting part at the external periphery of a balk ring is engaged with a groove on the external periphery of a synchronizing hub, and an insert spring is provided to press the balk ring with the movement of a coupling sleeve. CONSTITUTION:Projecting parts 10a, 10b are provided at the location where the external periphery of a balk ring 10 is divided into three equal parts. Splines 10e are formed on an external periphery of the ring except said three positions. Grooves 11a are formed at the location where the external periphery of a synchronizing hub 11 is divided into three equal parts. When the grooves 11a are assembled with the balk ring 10, the projecting parts 10a, 10b are engaged to the grooves 11a with circumferential play. The external periphery splines 11b of synchronizing hub 11 is joined with an internal periphery splines 12a of the coupling sleeve 12. An insert spring 13 is provided at the location where the coupling sleeve 12 corresponds to the grooves 11a of the synchronizing hub 11. |
