PURPOSE:To prevent a leaf-like paper body from curling with a head device with elements for reading, recording, etc., by installing a rugged part in a projecting part covering the elements in the vicinity of the elements. CONSTITUTION:A wear resisting protective glass film 104 which protects elements is formed in such a way that carrying-in side of recording paper P is thickly formed and a rugged part DC which almost corresponds to the projected shape of a heating element 103 is formed in the contacting area of a platen roller 130 in the vicinity of the heating element 103. Since the recording paper P passes between the rugged part DC and platen roller 130 before passing through the heating element 103 section, the recording paper is curled in the opposite direction and, therefore, the paper is prevented from curling toward the printing side. |
