PURPOSE:To flow a large quantity of discharge current, which is converted for a time of continuous oscillation, automatically at the time of pulse oscillation in comparison with the time of the continuous oscillation, by providing a high voltage DC power source, which supplies a discharge current to a laser tube, and a constant current circuit on the cathode of the laser tube. CONSTITUTION:When pulse oscillation is set, a signal of an oscillation-mode switch 14 is automatically sent to an impedance decreasing signal line 20 for an electric regulating element 9 or an impedance decreasing signal line 21 for a current detecting element 18 or both signal lines 20 and 21 through an oscillation-mode determing signal generator 16. Thus, a variable input impedance 17 or the current detecting element 18 or both variable input impedance can be decreased. |
