<p>PURPOSE:To enable highly precise detection of blank sheets regardless of their quality or thickness, by detecting the displacement of an eccentrically attached member to sense the blank sheet. CONSTITUTION:A blank sheet sensing plate 6 is provided with its rotational center eccentric with respect to a shaft 5, and the position of a tip of a blank sheet detection end P is located at a contact point of a delivering roller 3 with a pinch roller 4 or slightly downstream thereof. Opposed to the other end Q of the sensing plate 6 is a sensor 7 that can detect the displacement of the end Q and produce a blank sheet detection signal. When a blank sheet 2 is engaged with the end P of the sensing plate 6, the sensing plate 6 is swung in the direction shown by the arrow, that is, the position of the other end Q is displaced, and the displacement is detected by the sensor 7 to issue the blank sheet detection signal.</p> |
