<p>PURPOSE:To prevent jamming of a discharged copy sheet by disposing a concave portion for receiving the trailing edge of a discharged copy sheet. CONSTITUTION:A copy sheet 5 fed from a paper feed cassette 8 by a paper feed roller 9 is subjected to a transfer step by a transfer portion 10 and a fixing step by a fixing station 11, and then discharged from an outlet 3 of a copier to a discharge tray 1 by discharge rollers 4. The leading edge 5a of the copied sheet 5 discharged from the discharge rollers 4 gets over a concave portion 12 and drops down at a point 1a of the discharge tray 1. After that, the trailing edge 5b of the copied sheet 5 is discharged from the discharge rollers 4 completely to be accomodated in the concave portion 12.</p> |
