PURPOSE:To extrude a thermoplastic synthetic resin rod of large diameter without causing discoloration, reducing physical property remarkably by incorporating a cooling cone into the internal portion of a sizing die to cool the rod from inner and outer sides at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A cooling cone 21 is set by a spider 22 in a sizing die 13, an injection pipe 25 is connected with the hollow portion of the tail portion 212 of the cone 21 to inject refrigerant and to draw it through an exhaust pipe 26. The rod is cooled by a cooling jacket 30 and the cooling cone 21 from inner and outer sides at the same time. Lubricant is injected from a lubricant inlet 31 opened to the interior 201 to the entire external circumference surface of the rod to reduce the friction between the external circumference surface of the rod and the internal circumference surface of the sizing die 13. |
