<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of lifetime of a magnetic recording medium and at the same time to improve the operability by releasing automatically the repeat reproduction when the repeat reproduction reaches a prescribed frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a repeat button 21 is pushed, the contents of a data counter 3 are recorded to a memory 9. Then the repeat mode is switched to a reverse reproduction. When the repeat operation reaches the head of a scene, the contents of the counter 3 are recorded to a memory 10 to change the reverse reproduction to a forward reproduction. A comparator 11 sends a signal to a reverse reproduction means 19 when the value of the counter 3 is equal to or smaller than the contents of the memory 9 to perform the reverse reproduction. A comparator 12 compares the contents of the counter 3 with those of the memory 10 and sends a signal to a forward reproduction means 20 when the contents of the counter 3 is equal to or larger than the memory 10 to perform the forward reproduction. The repeat reproduction is usually released by a reproduction button 24 after the button 21 is pushed again. However, a counter 27 stops automatically the repeat reproduction when the repeat reproduction frequency reaches a prescribed level despite no release command given.</p> |
