PURPOSE:To obtain a tape cassette with prescribed size accurately and to keep the external appearance by arranging metal mold gates at the time of injection molding on the right and left side walls close to a window part of a cassette case body. CONSTITUTION:When a half body 1a of the cassette case body is injected and molded, the gates injecting melted resin in an injection molding device are located on the right and left side walls W close to the window part 3 of the half body of the cassette case body. In this case, the gate 13 of the metal molds 12a, 12b of the injection molding device is inclined from the wide wall W e.g. by 45 deg. and arranged witha space by a prescribed length from the lower end of the side wall W in order to prevent the generation of burrs at the discharge of the molded half body 1a. Consequently, no burrs are left on the positions of the gates 13 after injection molding and the processing for removing the burrs can be omitted. |
