<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a paper feed device in an electronic photo-copying machine or the like, by providing such an arrangement that a lever for urging a leap-up lever is opposed to a control cam, and as well a timing roller and the control cam are controlled by only one actuator. CONSTITUTION:When a copy button is operated in the condition before initiation of copying in which the engaging pawl 72b of a rotary control member 72 is engaged with a sleeve 52a in a first spring clutch 52, and a half-stepping pawl 72c is engaged with the stepping projection 74a of a third spring clutch 59, the rotary control member 72 rotates clockwise by means of a solenoid which is not shown so that the half-stepping pawl 72c is released from the stepping projection 74a, and as well the sleeve 59a and the stepping projection 74c rotate until they are checked by a half-stepping pawl 72d so that a peripheral projection 58a of a control cam 58 rotates an urging lever 21 clockwise. Thereby a leap-up lever 19 for the bottom plate of a cassette is sprung up to establish the enable condition of paper-feed. With this simple arrangement, troubles may be eliminated.</p> |
