PURPOSE:To prevent self discharge during storage and make possible long storage of a flat battery by applying a coating film on at least one inner surface of an anode can and a cathode can except for one part. CONSTITUTION:In a flat battery accommodating an anode active material 5 and a cathode metter material 4 separated by a separator 6 in an anode can 2 and a cathode can 1, coating films 10 and 11 are applied on at least one inner surface of the cans 2 and 1 except for one part. The surfaces excluding coating films 10 and 11 serve as a negative electrode and a positive electrode. |
