PURPOSE:To draw out a yarn from a package surface without a tangle by bringing a suction mouth close to a yan layer surface to suck only the yarn end set free from the yarn layer surface, and then sucking the yarn while unravelling. CONSTITUTION:Only the yarn end 25 set free from the yarn layer surface of a package 3 is first sucked to a suction mouth 7 of a yarn end sucking guide device 6. Subsequently, the concave portion of a cam 17 is separated from a cam follower 21 by rotation of a shaft 16, and a stopper lever 18 is turned counter- clockwise by the spring force of a spring 20 to lower an adjust bolt 22, thereby lowering the yarn end sucking guide device 6 on the adjust bolt 22, so that the suction mouth 7 is further brought close to the package yarn layer surface to suck a yarn 26 loosely wound round the yarn layer surface. With the subsequent rotation of the shaft 16, the yarn end sucked to the suction mouth 7 is guided to a knotter to make a knot in the yarn. |
