发明名称 AUTOMATIC CENTERING MECHANISM OF PINCH ROLLER
摘要 PURPOSE:To use an elastic member having a sufficiently low hardness with out using of a ball bearing to perform the centering action of a pinch roller by dividing cylindrically the body of a pinch roller from the innermost circumferential face, which is slided on a revolving supporting shaft of the pinch roller, to the outmost circumferential face of the pinch roller to three layers at least. CONSTITUTION:If a revolving supporting shaft 4 is not kept parallel with a capstan 1 because of the depressing force of a pinch roller 2 or a minute inclination of a chassis 7, an intermediate member 2b, which has a sufficiently low hardness, between an outmost layer 2a and an innermost layer 2c of the pinch roller 2 is expanded or contracted to bring the outside circumferential face of the outmost layer 2a into contact with the shaft of the capstan 1 in parallel, and a tape 3 is pressed to the shaft of the capstan 1 and is brought closely into contact with it, and consequently, the tape 3 is run stably. The hardness of the outmost layer 2a of the pinch roller 2 is set to 60 deg. normally, and resin bearing materials are used for the innermost layer 2c, and a member having <=30 deg. hardness is used for the intermediate layer 2b.
