PURPOSE:To obtain a disposable ink jet printer head which can be easily exchanged by using a system in which an expandible ink trap is provided on the back side of a base plate with an ink jet means, and after ink is used up, mechanical and electrical connection and disconnection is needed but the connection of ink is not needed. CONSTITUTION:Plural thin-film ink jet resistors 20, thin metal film lead wires 30 and connecting terminals 40 are provided on a base plate 10 having an ink supply port 50. An orifice plate 80 is fixed to the upside of the base plate 10, and a back plate 110 having a shallow groove 130 and a through hole 140 which are sufficient to cause capillary phenomen on is fixed to the back side of the base plate 10. An elastic expandible ink trap 150 is provided confinedly on the back of the back plate 110 and an outer housing is fixed to the back of the ink trap 150 to obtain an aimed disposable ink jet printer head. |
