PURPOSE:To bring a recording head into contact with a paper feed roller and release same therefrom by disposing a cam co-operating with a paper feed mechanism of a surface sequential heat-transfer color recording apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 9' is rotated by a reversible driving motor 8 to rotate a gear 10 and a cam gear 7. At this time, a recording head 2 released from contact pressure by a cam 6 fixed to the cam gear 7 is brought into pressure contact with a paper feed roller 1 through a recording sheet 3 and a transfer sheet 11 by a tension spring 11. After that, when a suitably set angle pulley 9 is rotated, a stopper 12 fixed to the pulley 9' is also rotated at the same angle to join the stopper and a stopper pin 13 fixed to the paper feed roller at one side edge 12a of a notch portion of the stopper, and the rotation of the pulley is transmitted through the stopper and the stopper pin 13 to the paper feed roller, so that the paper feed roller is rotated to feed a recording sheet 3 and a transfer sheet 4. |
