Fireproof plate is composed of fireproof plate (1), an adhesive layer (2), and an alumina powder layer (3). This plate prevents briquets from sticking and improves the efficiency of combustion. Powd. white clay(25%), silica(15%), agalmatolite(20%), clay(5%), and alumina(35%) are mixed with a proper quantity of water in a mixer, pressed into a mold, dried at 30-60≦̸C for 6 hrs, fired at 800≦̸C for 6 hrs, coated with alumina powder using adhesives, and are then fired again at 135≦̸C C for 22 hrs.
