The invention relates to the various methods for building bridges with a latticed structure made up of steel sections assembled by means of prefabricated assembly nodes. These nodes, which make it possible to assemble by welding or by screwing, are manufactured either by mechanical fabrication or by casting. They comprise sleeves for members 1, diagonal sleeves 2, these sleeves possibly being made up of a plurality of parts 3 and possibly being provided with screw threads 4 and mounting tabs 5. This invention comprises wide applications in the construction of bridges with a latticed structure and may be implemented in all countries. <IMAGE>
