<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio reader device and an article management system which can satisfactorily perform a communication with a plurality of metal-adaptable IC tags attached to a plurality of personal digital assistants or the like arranged at narrow spacings, and is excellent in convenience when being installed without needing the impedance adjustment of an antenna even in performing the communication with the plurality of metal-adaptable IC tags attached to the plurality of personal digital assistants or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This radio reader device is preliminarily provided with a conductor plate for ground, and a ground type multi-turn loop antenna part 1 is electrically installed in the conductor plate. An axis which is not matched with the central axis of an opening face S2 of the ground type multi-turn loop antenna part 1, and which is almost parallel with the central axis which does not pass through the opening face of the multi-turn loop antenna part 1 and the central axis of the opening face of an antenna part of a metal-adaptable IC tag 30 attached to the plurality of personal digital assistants or the like are almost matched so that it is possible to perform communication with the plurality of metal-adaptable IC tags 30 attached to the plurality of personal digital assistants or the like in a batch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
