A supporting device for electrical cables (29, 30) which are arranged freely in space and are arranged in fire-protection boxes (23) on supporting brackets (17) which project freely from a supporting device (11) and themselves have no fire-protection sheathing but are supported at their free ends for the occurrence of a fire by means of tension elements (20), which are mounted detachably on them.
