PURPOSE:To facilitate preparation of an FRP rim having an projection part for installing a plate for car by inserting a projection part having a premolded basic part made of FRP into the concaved part formed onto an inner mold and winding a wound layer and press-molding said layer by an outer mold. CONSTITUTION:The projection part of a T-shaped projection part for plate installation which is made of FRP and has a basic part 10 premolded is inserted into a concaved part 6 formed in the half-divided molds 1 and 1' of an inner mold 1, and the reinforcing fiber impregnated with matrix resin is wound onto the outside, and a wound layer 11 is formed. Then, an elastic ring-shaped outer mold 11 having the inside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of a finished rim in natural state is fitted onto the wound layer 11, and said layer 11 is pressed, and then heated and hardened. Thus, an FRP rim having a priojection part for plate installation can be prepared easily. |
